PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE OF SPECIAL PLANNING BOARD HEARING BOROUGH OF TETERBORO ADOPTION OF THE BOROUGH'S FOURTH ROUND HOUSING ELEMENT AND FAIR SHARE PLAN Please take notice that, pursuant of N.J.S.A. 40:55D-13 of the Municipal Land Use Law (the “MLUL”), the Borough of Teterboro Planning Board will conduct a public hearing at 6:30 p.m. on June 24, 2025 at via Zoom Conferencing Platform, NJ to hear public comment on the adoption of the Borough Housing Element and Fair Share Plan. After public comments, the Planning Board shall consider adoption of Fourth Round Housing Element and Fair Share Plan by way of resolution. The proposed Fourth Round Housing Element and Fair Share Plan was prepared in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40:55D-28(b)(3) of the MLUL and the mandatory requirements of a Housing Element under the recently amended New Jersey Fair Housing Act (P.L. 2024, c.2), relevant regulations of the New Jersey Counsil on Affordable Housing (“COAH”), and the Administrative Office of the Courts Directive #14-24. The Fourth Round Housing Element and Fair Share Plan also delineates the actions taken, and to be taken, by the Borough to create a “realistic opportunity” to satisfy its “fair share” of the regional need for affordable housing. A copy of the proposed Fourth Round Housing Element and Fair Share Plan of the Borough's Master Plan, and any other relevant documents, will be on file for public inspection no later than June 14, 2025, 10 days in advance of the hearing, in the Borough Planning Board's Office at the Borough of Teterboro at 250 Hollister Road, Floor 2, Teterboro NJ, between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Any party interested in commenting on the Fourth Round Housing Element and Fair Share Plan may do so via Zoom Conferencing Platform or may submit written comments to the Planning Board prior to the public hearing date.
